Black bears are quite often spotted in and around the Crowsnest Pass. Black bears are often mistaken for Grizzly Bears as they may be brown, cinnamon or blonde in colour.
They can be distinguished by their longer, less heavily furred ears, smaller shouler humps, and convex profile. |
